Walkthrough EU Taxonomy Reporting

EU Taxonomy license
- Left hand side navigation bar, EU Taxonomy. Ensure you can see this.
Report creation
- Click on EU Taxonomy
- The report page opens
- Click on New Report
- Select the year you want to create the report for
- Name the report
Setting up the report
- After the report has been created, you’ll be asked to add the reporting company’s tax identification number and average number of FTE during the reporting year.
Structuring the report
- Click on Manage entities on the left hand side navigation bar
- Create and name as many entities as needed to structure your company’s EU Taxonomy report
Adding activities
- Click on one entity and open the search bar
- Start typing the name of the activity you want to add
- Click on Add Activity
Removing activities
- Click on the Remove button, on the right hand side of the activity’s name bar
Evaluating activities (Technical screening)
- Select the Entity you want to get started with
- All Activities tied to that particular entity will be displayed on the left hand side bar. You can choose which Activity to start with.
- Upon clicking on one Activity, the horizontal bar will display all Environmental Objectives available (min of 1, max of 6).
- Under each Environmental Objective, the user is invited to add Activity details (description of business activity and an Eligibility supporting statement).
- Users that only wish to verify an activity’s Eligibility can click on the corresponding section without having to do the remainder of the Technical Screening. In that case, you should add both a comment and any supporting documentation.
- The remaining two sections of the Technical Screening, Substantial contribution and Do no significant harm, are mandatory for companies that wish to assess their alignment with that specific Environmental Objective within a given economic activity.
- The Technical Screening will be considered complete once all questions have been answered. This will be reflected in the widget titled Activity status.
- It is possible to navigate between different activities tied to the same entity on the horizontal bar.
- It is also possible to navigate from one activity to the next using the left hand navigation bar.
Financial KPIs
- Click on Financial settings and check that all information placed there is correct.
- Start by adding your Company financials (navigate through the horizontal bar).
- Click on Activity financials to add financial information to each activity. You will see a list of all your Entities and Activities.
- Click on any one of the Activities listed to get started.
- Start on the Turnover tab on the horizontal bar. Fill out all missing information related to either Eligible, Aligned turnover or both. You’ll be able to see the summary results on the Turnover KPI summary widget.
- Repeat the process on the CapEx and OpEx tabs.
Report export
- Click on Report on the left hand side bar.
- Click on Download Financial KPI report.
Company wide assessment
Minimum Safeguards
- All questions under the Minimum Safeguards are mandatory.
- Simply start on any of the headers, click on the title and you will see all questions underneath it.
